Juergen Staack

Juergen Staack(b.1978), based in Germany, studied under Thomas Ruff at the Düsseldorf Academy of Fine Arts. He deeply explores and reinterprets the original at the boundaries of the image, bringing it into various media such as photography, installation, sound, language, and performance. His conceptual works include sketching shadows that change over 24 hours in response to sunlight to represent a fleeting moment in time, translating endangered languages into images, and performing the process of language being misinterpreted in stages.

 

His recent solo exhibitions include 《UNSERDEUTSCH》(Konrad Fischer Gallery, Berlin, Germany, 2024) and 《ABERRATION - EROSION - V1S10N》(LOHAUS SOMINSKY Gallery, Munich, Germany, 2023).
